I realize that this topic has been around since BGII's release date, but I'm making it again. It's not the same thing, anyway. This time, post your two favorite non-ultimate weapons. This means no CF, Carsomyr, Staff of the Magi, etc. Here are mine:

1. Dagger of the Star +5
2. Short Sword of Mask +5

There are many weapons in the game that, though not incredibly powerful, are quite useful. Know of any? =D

Not sure what you mean by “non-ultimate”

I have a fondness for:

Dragon's Breath +4
Blade of Roses +3

By non ultimate I mean not one of the strongest in the game; SotM is the best staff, CF is the best katana, Carsomyr is the best two handed sword...that, and these three can be called the strongest weapons in the game, not only in their class.

Hrm... Non-ultimate? Lilacor. Useful, and entertaining. Can't get much better than that. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Uh, Pyrenk, the Short Sword of Mask +5 is in ToB IIRC, not SoA. And I think the Dagger of the Star +5 is also in ToB, not SoA.

But my answer to that would be...Dragonslayer :D . Works great on Minsc, finishing off his Red Dragon suit, giving him 100% fire resistance. Although he's not in my new party right now (kicked him out in the beginning of ToB for another character), but he kicked butt with it!

I know that they are ToB, but this is for the whole game =) No spoilers, either way.
