I just love Drizzt Do'Urden. I have never read any of the books, but he just seems so cool.......and POWERfull. It would have been a blast to try to make a character based on Drizzt. I mean a ranger through the BG Saga.
What kind of stats would i need? What kind of kit would I need in BG2? How can I be like Drizzt?
But no cheating, no shadowkeeper

well, its not possible to be exactly like Drizzt without a little hacking, but anyway, his stats according to shadow keeper are:

Str: 13
Dex: 20(can be gotten without cheating)
Con: 15
Int: 17
Wis: 17
Cha: 14

magic resistance 98%
physical damage resistance 30%¨

it doesnt say what profiencys hes got, but i believe he has grandmastery in scimitars and is profient or specialized with long bows and also has 2 or 3 stars in two weapon fighting...those are just my guesses though. i believe he is a level something fighter/ranger(he WAS trained as a fighter when he lived in the underdark).

I love Drizzt too! I really recommend the books, they're great! The later ones are supposed to suck, but all the ones I've read are brilliant!

Drizzt HAS to have 3 slots into dual wielding, there's no way he's that good with a 2

Really only 13 STR? I would think it would be a lot higher. Godlike, even.

Higher strength than 13? He's a slender dark elf, not a hulking barbarian...He has trouble using Aegis-fang even two-handed for anything other than chipping something free from a block of ice. I would also assume that he has at least high-mastery in 2-weapon, since from the beginning of his life he trained with 2 weapons at once.

IIRC, he has grand matery in all the skills that he has, right? And BTW, I actually think he doesn't have any proficiencies in duel weilding, which I found VERY odd! But I may be remembering wrong...

Not neccisarly true about Aegis-fang. IF you ever happento have it in possesion during the game it says something about not feeling prroerly fitted, tough it doesnt effect its use, or something i think....

Actually I was referring to the parts from the Icewind Dale Trilogy where 1)the hammer is first made and Drizzt is pressuring Bruenor as to who the hammer was made for: "Too big for a dwarf," Drizzt remarked casually, "And too heavy for my slender arms." and 2)when Drizzt is hacking the scimitar from out of the ice in Icingdeath's lair: "Then he heard the tapping coming from a side chamber. Stiff-legged, he moved cautiously around a bend. There was Drizzt, standing atop a hill of coins, breaking away its icy covering with Wulfgar's hammer."

i think he would have to have atleast 2 points, since rangers get two points in dual-wielding automatically
