Well, I'm pretty sure that I'm the first game I finished of SoA Edwin is in the Copper Coronet on the flight of stairs leading up to the second level. But, since I was playing a good-aligned group, I chose not to get him. Now that I'm going through the game with an evil-aligned group (and 2 neutrals, Jan and Jaheira), I want Edwin. But when I go to the CC to get him, he is not there. Do I have to do something to get him to appear, or am I just looking in the wrong place? I've already done the slaver quest and freed Hendak blahblahblah... Anybody know how I can get Edwin?

Have you been to the docks and completed the thief’s guild quest?

That is where you first run into Eddie and after much running about and other nonsense he asks to join your party.

Edwin goes to the Copper Coronet either after you kick him out of the party or he will go there if you refuse to take him into your party in the first place.

you do not have to join the shadow thieves to get him

As long as you do the quests, you can't miss him. Whether you keep him or not is optional, but you have to interact with him to get through the quests. [img]smile.gif[/img]
