Or even better try to locate some nice game-implemented Morning stars/Flails yourself.
But before I go on giving teacher's advice: Are you playing the game for the first time?

If so you should play it the way it was meant to be played by the rather smart guys that programmed it.
If you are playing the game again and need the Morning stars for role-playing purposes (say you're a badass knight of destruction) then either
a.)Take what is available (even if that means Morning Star+1)
b.)Do as Raistlin suggested and use IEEP (download from TeamBG) to make a balanced MS tailored to your character and his/her biography but do refrain from constructing
"The bowl of destruction +6"
25 strenght, con and dex when equipped
3 extra attacks per round
does additional 10 poison, lightning, cold and fire damage each
destroys dragons, golems and demons unless they make a save vs. wand at a penalty of 13.

Bowl of Destruction, eh? Sounds fun.

There's at least one very nice +2 morningstar that is available from an encounter fairly early on in the game. Also, flails in SOA share the same proficiency as morningstars, and there are very nice flails that aren't hard to get. Ask for spoilers and I'm sure someone will be happy to point out their locations and stats.

For downloads, take a look at the "Bonus CD Merchants" which is at:

http://www.baldurdash.org/tweaksandcheats.html

Despite the link name, the Bonus CD Merchants isn't generally considered a mod or cheat, and was released by the game makers. It makes two merchants appear in the game with a nice stock of items. One of them has both a good morningstar and flail for sale, and both merchants appear in areas you can reach practically right out of the first dungeon.

Raistlin, which of the files should be downloaded? Creating my own weapons wuld be great! Would it be the item checker?
