Hi, I'm a newbie to this message posting, so if two million before me have already asked this, please give me a break, I've searched for the answer, but couldn't find anything. okay, now there's a goddamn glich everytime, I try to go outside the shpere, my game crashes, it says there is an abnormal program running and it is being terminated, I have been playing this game for a couple of weeks now and this is the first time this has happened, can anyone help me???

Your install is corrupted somehow. Easiest fix is to reinstall the game from scratch. While your at it, install the fixpacks and patches linked to from the FAQ at the top of the forum, they do fix a lot of bugs and you will have a better game for installing them.

If I reinstall will I lose all my settings and have to start all over again?

I think yes. but put a Save map somwhere else and after install copy it back into SoA folder. If you do this you will stil have your saveed games. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Reinstalling will not kill your saves, but you will lose custom keymaps and your graphics setup. Nothing that cant be fixed in a few minutes.

If you Delete your entire SoA folder, you'll lose everything.

If you Uninstall and re-install, the uninstallation process will leave your Save (saved games), Mpsave (multiplayer saved games), Scrnshot (screenshots), and Portraits (custom portraits) folders untouched. So you can uninstall, reinstall, and Load your game exactly where you were, as soon as you make sure your game settings are correct.

Thanks for all your help guys. BUT i think it may be the CD is scratched. (little brothers!!!) Does anyone know if I can just replace one CD or do I have to go and buy all four CD's??????
