My Windows broke down a few days ago, and I did a new installation at another partition. Now I can not run The Game.
Is there a way to make it run (to add the information about it into the registry) without reinstalling? I would do it, but I have only ToB CD. Boštjane, oprosti zbog svega ovoga... :( |

Hm. Sorry to hear this Vedran. :( I cannot help you but shi** happens. I hope best for you. PM on the way. </font> |
Put the cd in the drive, cancel the instalation, go in the Game Folder and double click Baldur.exe. It should work.
|
The autorun starts, I click exit, then I double-click baldur.exe, and it opens the same autorun "screen".
|
it's not "baldur.exe" but "bgmain.exe"
this should work |
thats a bummer, really. what on earth are you gonna do before you get it to work? what if you*gasp*, just thought of something horrible! what if you actually have to *shudder* step out of the house?!?!?! :DI would never have the courage...
anyway, where are your bg2 cd's? you havent borrowed them to anyone, have you? you shouldnt risk losing those "artifact level" disks. |
If you cant get it to work with the method given above, youll have to either re-install with the original disks, or find and add the appropriate registry keys. Probably just easier to re-install.

Hey, RM, I have something to show you: !
And there really is bgmain.exe, but with a misc-file icon. And it works. Great. Thanks! |
