is there a type of sling that can be used by kensais?

I think not,but they can be very deadly with Darts,Axes(Throwing),Daggers...

i feel very bad for my kensai/mage :( cause i chose 1 proficiency of sling for him, i should've chose dagger instead :( any opinions?guys? :(

True,but Mages can use Daggers. So when you Mage portion levels up just select dagger.
