I jst had the ToB installed, and the patch, to clear up the "appears busy"-problem. But I whent to watchers keep, and found a flail-head for the flail of ages. The thing is, back at the d'Arnise hold, the forge wont let me forge....it just doesn't activate...until i move further away of course, then it says "you are too far away to use this" or something. It seems like a bug, but if anybody knows of any other way of forging the poison flail-head, please tell me. any special caracter that has to do this or something? Please let me know, as the flail of ages is my main weapon, and i'd like to get it updated. It is clearly a bug of some sort...

isnt it the imp in you sfere that does that?

You won't be able to add the extra head until after you finish SOA. It is not a bug.

But it is stupid nonetheless.

Give it to Caspenar-the imp. he is founf in your Pocket Plane.

yeah i had a bit of trouble with that too. its annoying. talk to censpar when you meet him.

IIRC, you need both the Poison head and the Electric head (was it the electric head??? i cant remember) in order to upgrade to the Flail of Ages +5.

this is the SoA forum. Ethertalking has installed ToB but is playing SoA, thus he is posting here.
The items he refers to are part of the ToB expansion and can only be used once the ToB story starts. We all know that but he doesn't because he is still playing SoA. So please refrain from spoiling him.

to answer the question again
the Flail head CANNOT be used in SoA it CANNOT be forged at the Keep. It is only usable after you've started the ToB story where you will soon meet a NPC who will happily add it to your Flail.
