The Second floor-where Golems are:

There is a Secret Door on the southeast wall . Follow this
passage all the way to what looks like a dead end. It isn't. Open this
secret door and enter a small room.
Within this room is a former guardsman by the name of Glaicas.

okay now, i tried entering the door (after the mage guy gets killed) and it keeps saying that the door is broken and will have to be repaired!
Go figure!

Yeah, that's the broken-down door. You need to find a secret passage instead.

It is found in one of the rooms in the right wing.

Go to the room where you first came from from below ( the first level, not the basement), go north into the hallway and then take the door to the left (there should be an open fire in this room at the north end of the room). At the south end of the room there should be secret door to a hallway. Rest is up to you.

im confused.. i sent yoshimo (in find traps mode) into the room with the fireplace ... and no secret doors lit up...this is frustrating....

You have the correct room, so just park him in the room (don't move around) with Find Traps Mode on. He should find the door. In fact, park the whole party in the room; all of them have a chance to find the door.

Thief searching for traps has 100% to find secret doors, doesn't he?
Does the spell Find Traps do anything with secrets?
