Well met everyone, I'm about to start the final battle and I've bought BG2 and ToB so I have a question.

I accidently read somewhere that if you have the pantaloons in your inventory that they follow your character to BG2 and have signifigance later on. Here's my silly, inane question-

Is that the only item that follows your character or do the items and weapons you have on your person come along as well ? Thanks in advance for your help...

No, the pantaloons aren't the only ones. If you have the Helm or Cloak of Balduran they will find you soon after beginning, as well as a particular sword (won't say which one though, no need to spoil.) There may be another item or two, I forget, but none of your normal equipment follows you in. You'll find much better!

Hmm. Helm of Balduran and Sword of Chaos, OK. But I have never found Cloak of Balduran. Are you sure?

Helm of balduran in BG2 doesnt come from BG (well, its supposed to, but the fact is that you find it in BG2 no matter youre playing an exported character from BG1 or not, no matter it had it or not). The pantaloons are different, you can get them only if its a exported character that had them in its inventory.
