Hate to sound stupid, but how does this @*&$%^! thing work?! You cast the spell, get a nice effect...where's the weapon? On the ground? No. In inventory? No. In your weapon slot? No. I don't get it.
|
For me it never failed to work. The weapon appears in the inventory. I probably know whats the issue in your case: when you make your mage cast the spell, don't switch to another character. Wait for him to finish it, and a choice panel should appear instead of main 'toolbar' in the bottom. You choose the type of weapon you wish to create (mace, long/short sword whatever else), then the weapon should appear. Make sure your mage has free inventory space.

if he doesnt, it wont matter. the weapon will just replace an item in your inventory, and the dropped item can be found on the ground.
btw, does anyone else find it funny that none of the made weapons can be used by the mage(unless, of course, hes a multi/dual classed mage)! |
It is a strictly party-used spell. But indeed it is funny Never bothered to think about it LOL!
