Hey, I'm getting a problem where the game will crash upon loading one of the dream sequences.

I first thought it was a corrupt savegame, but it seems to be the case with other games as well.

It is the dream seqence after the one where Irenicus summons some monsters and a duplicate of you.

What is the usual way to fix such a problem, and can the Imoen romance mod have any significance for this?

<span style="color: lightblue">If you *want* to see the cutscene, backup saves and reinstall. If you don't, you can install the "Faster Cutscenes and Dreams" component of Ease-of-Use.

Erh, I want my cutscenes. Isn't it possible just to replace the specific dream sequence files?

The Imoen Romance Mod fiddles around with the dream sequences. There is probably a clash somewhere. Do you have the Ease of Use Mod as well?

ADD] You must NOT install that part of the Ease of Use Mod. Bad things will happen if you do. [img]tongue.gif[/img] So if you have the EoU Mod, make sure you did not install the shorter cutscences component.

You have downloaded tisless version of the Imoen Romance, which is half the size, but lacks one big area file. You are supposed to extract the file from Baldur's Gate 1.

If you don't have Baldur's Gate 1, either try borrowing/buying it, or download full version of the Romance.

I have BG1, what is the name of the file in question?

EDIT, I read the readme. What exactly does IETME stand for?

It works with the concurrent romances part.

And I really don't want to skip the dream sequences. They aren't really that long and some of the later ones are really cool.

Imoen adds new dreams. There is no clash.

ADD: Later ones? Ease of Use removes only chapter 1 & 2 dreams.
