I just had to reload a game from a previous chapter, and now my side kick Jaheira will not go near me! She moves about an inch on the screen every click, will not cast spells while near me ect? and when I tried dumping her she said nothing and just stood there!!?? I am playing a theif and the only other character is Jaheira.

This reaction I have seen before when in a past game Anomen gets upset at not being made a knight and Aerie had the same effect. She just would not stand near to Anomen, acting frightend. I had to dump her (no loss :D )

As Glorfindel said, it's definitely one of the known bugs with Jaheira. The Baldurdash fixpack should take care of that.
