After the Healing spells (of course), I'd have to say Silence 15' Radius. I don't THINK I've ever seen anyone make a Saving Throw against it....

The healing spells are essential, of course.
I realize you referred to druids in the topic, but re: cleric spells I especially love all of these: Bless Command Word: Die Entangle Chant Draw Upon Holy Might Silence Flame Blade (great for ghasts and ghouls in conjunction with Turn Undead) Spiritual Hammer Animate Dead Strength of One Defensive Harmony There are other very good cleric spells, these are just my favorites . Too bad the level 5 spells aren't available (even with the XP cap removed a normal game would be completed long before you ever amassed the required XP to become a level 9 cleric). It is really cool to pump up the party for a major fight by casting Bless, Chant, Strength of One, and Defensive Harmony (and then personally Draw upon Holy Might). As a cleric-thief I really enjoy casting Holy Might and Spiritual Hammer, hiding in shadows, and sneaking up on a target and backstabbing (or maybe 'backwhacking' is a better term). Shillelagh is also surprisingly effective backstab weapon for a cleric-thief. |
