Although this is a radical move, Iron Ranger, you can try it. It requires editing the Windows Registry.

1) Click Start, then Run.

2) In the Run window, type REGEDIT and click "OK"

3) Backup your registry by clicking "FILE" then "EXPORT" on the menu bar and giving the backup a name. Save it to the root of C: just in case something bad happens.

4) After you backup the registry, click "EDIT", then "FIND". Do a search on BGII. Delete any key that has "BGII" in it. Keep searching for additional occurrences by hitting the "F3" key.

5) You'll get a message eventually that no other occurrences of "BGII" can be found.

6) Close the registry and reboot the computer.

7) See if this fixes the problem. If not, repeat the process, substituting "SoA" for "BGII".

Hope this helps!

go to this site and down load the jv 16 power tools it's free, with it you can safely and completely remove any program without doing what Sazerac has suggested. You can also remove addware from your computer. I used it to Remove BG-II and about 7 oiher programs after I added my new 120 Gig hard drive and my computer couldn't find those programs but the jv 16 powertools found them and completely Deleted them just set your saved game file in a different place Before you remove BG-II. this program works great and it is very very safe I use it all the time I stake my rep here at IW on it.

Thanks Crimson..It worked...Sort of..I found the files and everything went good, but I think I hit (in the Registry Section) the wrong button..I clicked "remove" and I probably should have clicked "uninstall"..But I didnt see that till a few seconds later..Damn :(

But its no big worry, I am hoping I am getting a new compurter in 1-2 months anyway..But still.
