I am having great difficulty placing the ring, blood, hand, and staff in the pipes. Any sugestions?

I know the order in which to place them. I tried laying them on the ground on the platform in front of the pipes. I can't get to the pipes to place them in the pipes.

Try clicking on the pipes themselves.

Have items in your inventories, and just click on the pipes in the correct order.
