I finished all of the Radiant Heart quests and returned to talk to what's his name who is kissing my butt. He tells me how there's nobody he'd rather give the Holy Avenger too. Cool I'm thinking. But when I check my inventory it's not there and the dialogue box does'nt say anything about gaining an item. I talk to him again and he kisses my butt some more but doesn't give me anymore quests or mention the sword again. So I figure I must need to get it from some one else. Nope! Nobody else has it. Is this a bug or am I missing something.

Did you kill Firkraag yet? If so did you search his body? Just a little tip-off: Firkraag had/has the sword it's on his body. Not that he uses it. But, when you kill him you can have the sword.

You actually have to go fetch the item yourself, it isn’t handed to you.

after you kill off the large bad guy in the Windspear hills the sword is found under him along with some other nice things.

I wonder WHY on earth that sword ended up with him...

AH SO! I hope it's still there.

Propably some paladin tried to kill Big Red, but ended up as a toasted sausage. then Big Red just added it to his hoard.

If the sword isn't there then just clua the bugger in. You kill Firky so technically the sword is your's anyway.

For the same reason that the various dragon fighting implements show up in his dungeon. Every dragon likes to store stuff you can kill him with near himself. Heck, at least he was smart enough not to leave Carsomyr floating somewhere in the dungeon.

Well I went back and the sword wasn't there. As far as clua'ing it I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to do that. I don't have any of those things (mods clua consoles etc.) How much am I missing by not having the H.A.? Currently get my ass kicked in the Watchers Keep.
