Sorry but i urgently need help in spellhold - the actual thing - not the basement/cellar thing. Well, here I go.

The first time I went to spellhold i went there because pirate man sent me as an inmate. Somehow i got the mages there to rebel with me and I confronted Irenicus and i had a cool fight were u have to fight a clone of your entire party and irenicus with insane mages backing you up.

However, i can't remember how to get back to this situation. i have tried three times but it didn't work; i must be doing something wrong...

Two ways to get into spellhold

1. Get the pirate lord to class you as "insane"
2. Get the ward stone off of the mage (forgotten his name) at the east end of the map.

Once you are in Spellhold, it is fairly linear to reach the scenario with Irenicus. (Do the Bodhi tasks, get Imoen back in party , etc)

To get the mages to help you battle Irenicus, follow the correct dialogue (ie persuade them) to rebel against Irenicus.

I gather from what I've read your already in spellhold and have finished the Bodhi's Gauntlet area (Sorry If that's not the case). What you need to do is find Saemon and he suggests you use the inmates to help you fight Irenicus. IIRC Saemon is on the same floor as Irenicus. Remember don't go to Irenicus alone as he will kill you. Once you've talked to Saemon head upstairs, you will be approached by the warden guy who you can either kill or bribe for 2000 gold to let you go to the inmates. The inmates are on that floor and will each say their piece before you are teleported directly to Irenicus for the fight.

If you are in a new game and want to go back, well follow the steps listed by the others above.
