<font color=white> The Improved Human Flesh is by far most the best choose in SoA, in ToB probaly the Yellow Dragon Armor.

Improved Human Flesh

Made from human skin and treated with the blood of a noble dragon and combined with the soul of an innocent girl and powerful protective magic, this armor emits the stench of bitter death. The malevolent armor can only be used by a truly evil person. This is the pinnacle of dastardly protection.

STATISTICS:

Armor Class: 0
Saving Throws: +4 bonus
Magic Resistance: 20% bonus
Equipped Abilities: +1 DEX bonus, +1 CON bonus, immunity to poison, protection from Good
Weight: 5
Requires: 3 Strength
Not usable by:
Mage
Non-Evil Characters

It's god-like... that's one thing that is certain

Gorgon's plate can be neglected when you have to choose from the other 2 IMO, they are much more powerfull then compared to the Gorgon's Plate.

AFAIK, Improved Human Flesh isn't available in SoA because you need Malla's Soulstone as one of the components.

You can find Malla's Soulstone in one of the quests in the city of Amkethran.

Another cool armor is Crimson Chain +5 !
You can get it from Ribald but with your mods installed you can also get it from a fight - after you come from the Underdark. Ask me then if you want to save your money. ;)

You can also wear the Shadow Dragon Scales !

<font color=white> Aaah, slipped my mind that Malla's Soulstone was needed to forge the Imp. Human Flesh...

Though Un-Imp. Human Flesh is also rather good (mostly neglected due to it's evil only), and it can be acquired in chapter six.

I think you must think about what kind of armor you will use before you go to Spellhold ---> Underdark ect., after the Underdark.. it's obvious (you can choose between Gorgon and Human Flesh so)

Before you get these armours, you may want to try the Jester's Chain from Spellhold, although to get that you must sacrifice another good item.
