I downloaded the lvl 50 Exp. Cap Remover from sorcerer's place, and I can't get it to work. I've unzipped it and put it in the main BG2 folder. I've also tried putting it in the override folder, and nither way worked. Please help and give derections on where to put it. Thanks!

>ake sure that all the files end up in the override folder. Some of the cap removers are designed to be extracted to the bG2 folder, others the override folder. Just make sure the files wind up in the right place.

Also, www.baldurdash.org have a safe remover that wont screw up the game. I dont know about the SP remover specificaly, but some of them will cause you to lose abiities past level 40.

I've tried using other Removers and they all say to extract to the override folder. I do, but it has no effect on the game. I looked at Baldurdash and they don't seem to have a remover. Is it possible that they aren't working because I don't have ToB, or am I doing something wrong? Please help if you have ANY idea at what might be causing this! This is the most frustrating thing I've ever had with BG!

The XP cap remover should reveal itself when you level up. You will see no effect until then.
A possible source of your problems: Do you have Mac? It is known that the PC XP cap remover does not work with Mac for some unknown reason.
