I have a swashie alright. Okay for fun I dual him to a mage. And you know what happens? He is 100 percent mage-like I thought he would have some of the abilites as a thief like being able to wear armor, hide in shadows like Imoen and Nalia can. Is there a way to solve this little problem.

You have to get your mage levels past your thief levels in order to regain your thief abilities...memorizing spells should help with this a lot.
