I play my games at home and at work. In the past I have had two different parties going but now I would like to play the same game on both computers. If I have the same mods, patches, fixpacks etc. installed on both of them will I be able to e-mail my saved games back and forth? Or burn them to cd's and transport them back and forth? I am wondering if 1) is this possible and 2) am I just setting myself up for all sorts of problems.

if you have the exact same mods and what not, i don't think it would be any harder than transfering a game from multi to single player. I could potentially cause unforseen problems but i don't think it would. just be careful you don't want to bring home an item you computer doesn't have

You play BG2 at work?
I SOOOO want your job! |
Assuming both games are of the same version, patched correctly, and the same mods are installed on both (important: same installation order!), i foresee no problems. Just copy the relevant save folder (e.g., Baldur's Gate 2\Saves\SpongeVsMencar) from one computer to another.

well.. it won't really have anything on anything but ain't that a hassle for you? back and forth? and one problem could be is that if your diskette or cd messes up and boom. hehehe you are backlogged for one day ;)
