I have the latest version of Baldurdash fix-pack, no Mods installed and I STILL lose those extra spell-slots whenever my F/M changes area. Any suggestions for resolving this very annoying BUG?

Thanx in advance

Hi there... this post is actually what motivated me to register here. Heheh.

Anyhow, I tried to recreate this bug but was unable to. The spells were kept just fine through area transitions, and I suspect that I would have heard of this from many other people by now.

Possibly this is caused by an AI script that you have running that is changing weapons. As soon as the Zerth is unwielded, even if it is still in your Quick Weapon slots, the extra spells are gone. Even just clicking on the sword icon in the game screen's Quick Weapon slots to attack will lose them.

If it persists and this is not the cause, by all means please Zip/RAR/whatever your savegame folder and mail it to me (mail addy should be in my profile) and I will have a look.

Also, should have a spiffy new FixPack coming out within a couple of weeks... it's basically doubled in size. Been busy!

Can you give Baldurdash fans a hint or two about big fixes in this pack? :D

Welcome, Kevin.

This part made me think. It is easy to test if it is indeed a script that is a cause:
Jatelka, equip the Zerth blade in the shield slot and check if those spells are lost.
