I did EVERYTHING I could do when hustlin' in underdark...except for Deirex, and house Jae'llat.

Did I miss much? Or am I still safe?

IIRC, there isn't a single unique item in Deirex's Tower, but plenty of gold and gems. I believe a portion of the Wave Blade is with the Jae'llats, along with other gems/gold.

2 parts of wave halberd can be gotten from a sahuagin prince (whom u help in their turf) and from the "warden" in astral prison, when doing a bard quest.

But it's mostly a lot of cash and gems, so don't worry. If you've done the Illithid lair you found enough gems already. Now what does a Master Brain want to do with 52 of the same gems? Does he collect them or something?

and you missed the Viper leather armor +5, that also lowers save vs. poison/paral. thingie. it isnt good, so dont worry. Waters Edge +3 is a +3 scimitar.

correction:

Water's Edge+3 can also be obtained from Trademeet.

Trademeet? I only encounterd Belm +2 near the Druid Grove... no Waters Edge +3.... who/where has/is it? [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img]

Too far down this post to include my own Spoiler tags.....
The Water's Edge+3 is the only one in SoA, although there are at least 2 others in ToB. Yes, Cespenar can indeed use them (actually, just one of them) to perform the upgrade. It is the only worthwhile item in the House Jae'ellat, apart for some gems.

Deirex's Tower is where most of the loot is. Apart from the leather armor mentioned above, it contains scrolls of Spook, Deafness, and Contagion (very rare), as well as one of the best Crossbows in SoA (for someone like Nalia, that is. I wouldn't give it to Imoen or Jan).

[ADD:] Doh! I forgot to add that you can go back. Yes indeedy dippity doo, if you have the Rope you can go back and still do the whole quest, just as if you were still a Drow, with no problems at all. And if you're insane like me, you'll keep all the trophies you can: I'm in ToB now, but my Quest Items chest back in SoA still contains the Gilded Rope, Deirex's Gems, and the dagger I looted from Jarlaxle. Gotta love that Pause feature! [/ADD]
