Guys, which axe do u think is better? StoneBreaker or Frost Reaver? I dunno, they r all +3, also, if u guys were do dual the CF, would u put it in ur off hand? Finally, I wonder if u backstab with the short sword of backstabbing+3 do they do anything special???? Replies appreciated.

Not sure about Stonebreaker as i haven't got it yet, but as for the Sword of back stabbing i didn't notice it doing anymore damage - i've got a decent katana for Yoshimo and that seemed to do more damage than the shortsword of backstabbing...hehe i love back stabbing....

Buy the scarlet katana frm Joluv in the copper coronet

1.- They deal the same damage, but id choose frost reaver because it has 3 damage types (slashing, acid, cold) instead of the 2 from stonefire (slashing, fire). That means youll be able to hurt more enemies with it than with stonefire (plus there are more fire-inmune creatures in the game than acid or cold inmune)
2.- I would put CF in main hand, because it has more attacks than off hand, that means more chances of stunning your enemy.
3.- No, its just its name [img]smile.gif[/img] , its a normal short sword +3

The name is Stonefire, not Stonebreaker.

I prefer the latter because it looks spiffy blue and glowing.

I am seldom in a circumstance where I have to choose between them. I just slap the more applicable for a given encounter into the main hand...

Yes, CF in main hand, with a few exceptions, like where you may want to use the MoD in your primary hand to have more chances of destruction, or the flail in your primary to have more chances of slow, or... well, anytime you want the effect of a different weapon more than stun. CF is not a good main hand weapon for applying the coup-de-grace to trolls, for instance, though it excels at getting them to that point...

Reading between the lines, were you planning to dual with one of the axes in the off-hand? In general, I think you would be far better off using the scimitar you get somewhere in the trademeet quest in the off-hand, even if you are non-prof in scimitar. Or equip the Scarlet Ninja-to mentioned above...

The difference is microscopical, power-wise. Choose the one with the better background story.

CFaeyr? Off Hand, as long as you have something useful in the Main Hand.
