I finished Candlekeep. It was fun. I am not sure how; but, I lost 16 rep points! It was worth it to add some good intreege(SP?). I'm AM the fugative; and, Sareveck is the one armed man. That Elminster is pretty useless( I hope you see him do something cool somewhere along the line ). I installed TOSC before I left BG. I went to the temple in FA inn area; and, bought back my good rep so I wont have to fight everyone I meet. I get the feeling that I still should steer clear of the FF guys. I have explored everything else so I made my way up to UB. I went on the sidequest to the Island. I just bought the wardstones from the little guy. I'm supposed to meet my guide in front of the tower. Now for the questions -
1)- This little village is all fenced in, should I leave it and explore to find this tower?
2)- I found this empty store where there must be some evil stuff going on in the basement. My guess is that I'll see those dudes later on. Right?
3)- I read that there is a place to stock up here( I'm almost out of magic arrows ). Where is it?
4)- I have 16 ankheg heads in that poor guy's dresser south of the gate. Is there any way to get those heavy bastards down to beregost?

#3 is a must answer( I wont go down there without more arrows ). I was told that my four guys wont be enough to finish the game. I've been kickin' with just the four. I have all my bases covered. Three guys I made and Yeslick. F/T F C/M F/C Every one else was just cannon fodder. The sraw that broke my back was when Branwen got killed. Usually when you raise someone ( or who die perm. ), thier stuff is where they die or on them. Niether happened. She lost all the good cleric stuff, especially that elecric hammer. Man was I pissed. Next time through( when I set myself up for BG2 ), I'll just take Minsc and his gal. Minsc has the only enjoyable AI. Thanks.

1) I would set off on your own and find Durlag's Tower by yourself.
2) I've never seen these guys so I have no idea.
3) Just go back to Baldur's Gate and get some magic arrows. You can't buy good stuff anywhere at Ulgoth's Beard.
4) Buy a potion of strength from somewhere and try and carry as many of the heads as you can. Go up and down several times if need be, its a good way of getting easy gold.

1.- Find it yourself
2.- Be patient http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif
3.- There is an inn in the town that sells some cool stuff (there are a couple of really good items)
4.- I wouldnt bother about them, but if you really want it, do as Alex said and carry them with potions of strenght.

here's a tip. Durlag's tower is really hard. You nead to be very good, or quicksave ALL the time. But you do get some amasing stuff in there.... http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Ahh come on guys - the question about finding Durlag's tower is legit - it does NOT show up on your map until you wander to it from an adjacent area. In this case it is a long way off: [spoiler]

east of Nashkell Fair.
Also, when you first enter the area you meet an NPC who sells some magic ammo etc. because "you won't need your gold anymore if you are going in the tower".

2; Just to add to what Ertai_OHF said, return to Ulgoth's Beard after completing Durlag's Tower and you'll soon find out what's in the basement...

ACtualy, my map got updated when I talked to the dwarf in the Ulgoths Beard Inn, or alternatively, find a guy named Skie
