I have the following problem:
I loaded my game today, did Aran´s quests (the docks one and the bridge district tavern one), bought staff of ryn +4, and then decided to try kangaxx. buffed, prepared and got ready, and i quicksaved, knowing that i would have to attempt many times (wasnt gona use any cheese like scrolls of pfm or waiting till i got the mace of disruption). Needless to say, lich form was easy (found a good way using death fog) and needles to say, demilich form kicked my ass.
Now, the problem itself: i reloaded, and even if the mini-screenshot on the saves list was correct, when i loaded i got the old game, previous to doing the quests and buying the stuff. If wouldnt be much of a problem if it wasnt because the game HAD saved (the staff wasnt at the bartender, the 2 shadow thief traitors arent in the tavern...) but my chars not (so i dont have the staff -not a big problem, i can edit it-, and the BIG problem, im stuck with arans quest).

i think the only way to solve this is to create those 2 guys using console, but i need to know their names. If anyone knows them or can get them, please let me know, ill be more than grateful.

Oh ok i found it :D
The guys are called Jaylos and Caehan... remembered one of them started with a J, so i just searched all creatures starting with J in infinity explorer until i found a halfling [img]smile.gif[/img] , then following the dialog i found his companion... i killed them but the contact didnt show up, so i had to dig a bit in the scripts to find him, he had a weird creature name (BODFGT03).

Rather than hacking my game, I would first have loaded my Auto-Save, to see if IT managed to save correctly. BioWare had the forethought to make Kangaxx's crypt an Auto-Save area.

OFF TOPIC: Ertai, is that really you? What in Ao's name are you doing back there as an Emerald Dragon? You used to be my mentor back on the BG1 forum, where have you been all this time?

i stopped coming here some time ago because i was just too busy, found a job, started playing counter strike a lot... i still visited here sometimes but hardly ever post. now im back to the university, im playing bg2 again :D (already bored of nwn) so ive come back for good.

About the question, it happened the same with autosave, the mini screenshot was the correct one (entering kangaxx lair) but when i loaded i was back to the shadow thieves guild (where i was before doing all that stuff i mentioned)

BTW, you have a great site sixo [img]smile.gif[/img] , ive checked it a couple of times when i was confused about my characters spell progression (im used to nwn progression).
