I thought to pick up Viconia as a healer. The only 'healer' I have is Jaheria.
Should I drop drop her for Viconia? I didn't do that because of losing 2 rep pts. Besides Jaheria, the other party members are: me (swashbuckler), Minsc, Korgan, Jan and Nalia.

It could go either way. I personally like Jaheira because of her Insect Sawrm spell, but then again both of them make decent healers and good tanks. By the way, don't worry about the 2 points of reputation, you'll do numerous things in the game to bring it back up.

Well if its a question on who to drop, I say Nalia, for you may want a wizard, but you'd need a thief as well, so keep jan and say goodbye to nalia.

It's hard to tell you which one's best. They have different good points. Jaheira's romance is buggy from what I hear, though I did it successfully my first time through the game. She can tank pretty well. However, you have tanks. Viccy can "armor up" well, but isn't *great* at attacking, but that won't matter with you, Korgan, and Minsc.

BTW, I like having 2 mages and 2 healers, especially if one or more of them is multi-class, so you might *not* want to drop Nalia as mentioned. Jan is okay - but I would not want him as my only mage.

[edit] Considering your party makeup, I'd say definately Viconia, based on alignment concerns along. With both her and Korgan around, watch it you don't drop your reputation too much.

If you only have room for one person, get Viciona. She is a better cleric (full classed), and since you allready have 3 tanks, you wont need the fighter ability of her, so get Viciona. her turn undead ability is cool, because she can take control of the undead instead of blastin them away.

Viconia and Jaheira are about on a par: Clerics are on the whole more useful than Druids, but Jaheira has some extra spells (Restoration and Harper's Call) that make up for the gaps in the Druid Scroll. Viconia has Skeleton Warriors and Aerial Servants, Jaheira has Fire Elementals and Dryads. I, personally, am leaning toward Jaheira because she's nicer to have around, I've always preferred exploding my Undead foes instead of Charming them, and the Insect spells are SO nice against spellcasters.

If you have ToB, Jaheira wins hands down.

I personally go for Viconia, she seems to work really well when you up her low strength and she has alot more spells then Jaheira.. Although... Jaheira has some great spells that Viconia doesn't have, and much better constitution. Pretty good aguement on both sides.
