So I'm in the Asylum now with my solo char. And because I'm a nitpick, I want everything to be done before I advance to the next level of the Asylum. As you all might know, there are three stones with which you can open the portal (receive the Doomplate +3 from the Djinni). I found two of them (including the opal which gives you the Doomplate, and the Sapphire which summoned a Greater Wolfwere). My question is; where is the last one, which is supposed to be a ruby?

The Ruby is in the Gibberling room: up the northwestern stairs (from the starting position), then immediately east.

The Opal is in the golem room, northeast of the starting location, by the grinder.

The Rogue Stone (IIRC) is in the chest after solving the puzzle with placing items in the hands of statues.
