I've done nothing of great wrongness, of that I am sure. But somehow, my main character (and solo character, mentioned in my other thread as well) has done something wrong. So every time I load a game, it says: "The party's reputation decreases by 2".

Now I can imagine that he killed a beggar. But he didn't. He also didn't pee in the Government's Park. And he certainly didn't pick a fight in a local bar with our great and good friend Anomen.. (well.. I *was* legally fighting upstairs in the Den of the Seven Vales, but that's ok). So I guess them Athkathlans really hate fighter/mages. *grumble* Bunch of racists.. Give them fighter/mages a decent chance to earn a living and slay the ignorant!

Its probably a bug because the only time i rember lossing to REP is when u morph into a slayer but i dont think that has anything to do with it.

Maybe you killed a peasent or something by accident in a fight, I've been known to do that on occasion [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

Is it doing it just when u loaded the one time or everytime you load? Such as in dfferent areas or is it just the one area which you have been loading and reloading over and over agian.

Have you EVER turned into the Slayer? As if that ability wasn't lame enough, it was never completely bugfixed either: In one of my games, I Slayed myself to save a couple of Illithid Collars, and for the rest of the game, whenever I entered or exited a building I would see this weird splash of flame around my feet. The Reputation message that you're getting sounds like it's similar in nature.

Question: Is your Reputation actually decreasing, or do you just see the message pop up? If your Rep. does go down, is it cumulative on each Reload?

I wish it *was* due to the Slayer change, but I'm still in the very beginning of the game. So no-no. No Slayer change ability yet. I haven't checked if my reputation does decrease, will do. Thx.

No, this is a solo game. But somehow it disappeared as soon as it had appeared. Maybe the reinstall did it...

Yep [img]smile.gif[/img] I even made sure I had installed the latest BG2 patch before starting it. I'm too spoiled though, because I kept pressing TAB entirely through Irenicus' Dungeon to highlight containers [img]smile.gif[/img] LOL :D
