For some reason I cannot quicksave or open the cheat panel....I press "q" and nothing happens and I press the buttons to open the "chat" "cheat" typing area and neither open? It seems as perhaps I pressed a button I should not have, but I cannot figure out what is goining on.... Not being able to quicksave really, kinda, sucks....I was able to before now suddenly I cant? any ideas? ... (I have tried with caps lock on and off amongst other things)

Do you get any kind of a message when you try to quicksave? Is your game fully patched?

actually none of the "keyboard" commands work... just looked and "I" or "z" etc... none work.... Is there perhaps a command that turns on and off the keyboard commands?....

I don't think so, but I'm not absolutely sure. Open your BGConfig program and check the hotkeys section to see if your key assignments are still intact.

hmmm, somehow, somewhere, something got messed up....The config file is non-existant? when I try to config it says searching for file and never finds it :| ... what folders should I save to keep my game going? I am assuming I will need to do a new install :\ , unless someone has any other ideas? [img]smile.gif[/img]

Save your "Save" and/or "MPSave" folders, depending upon whether you were playing a multiplayer game or not. Other folders that you might want to consider saving are the Portraits and Sounds folders, if you have any custom portraits or soundsets installed.
