I just beat SOA for about the 3 time now, and I was wondering, at the end when Ellisime is thanking you and all that stuff. And then she says that she gives you gold and some kind of Seldarine Amulet so others can see what you did or something like that.
Now what I'm wondering is, when i import my PC into a new game, where's this amulet that she said she was giving me? and also, can you continue the game after that scene with all the Seldarines at some sort of banquet, party, etc for you? |
To answer your first question, I don't really know why that is, considering that I've never imported a saved game yet back into SoA, so I'm no help there. But about continueing on from that part in Suldennesular, it's an extenison pack that you have to buy called the Throne of Bhaal, which is an awesome way to end the game :D
Also, there's a mod out you can download called The Darkest Day that happens after the game, but ToB is much more worth while. Hope this helps |
do you mean to say that if i download the darkest day, i can't use TOB? and with this download you're talking about, does it basically just let you play after the ending or is there more to it?
|
and can you give me a link to this Darkest day mod?
|
No, no, no, you can still play TDD with ToB, just saying they both take place after the game. TDD has a couple of major quests in it, both during and after the game, but no spoilers from me :D
Here's the link http://tdd.teambg.net/?page=download&color=B09800&sel=0 |
so after i download this, does it add more areas? or just new quests?
and if you could, can you atleast tell me where i can start the quests? |
Ok, when you download it, install it into your main BGII Directory. When you play it, there will be *both* new areas and quests. If you want to know how to get to these areas, I'll tell you, but I hope this won't be that much of a spoiler for you.
([SPOILER]) The first way to get to a new area is in Athkatla at the City Gates. There will be a short man that runs up to you, and starts to play with a shiny piece (gold piece) you have. You can let him have it, and he will sell you a map, or take it back and he'll drop the map. This will lead you to a new area called Eshpurta. This will be the start of a big chain of quests, one that does take awhile for some people, but may not be hard to you. There is another quest you can start when you get to Umar Village. There will be a woman there that pleads with you to save her son that went on an adventure in search of great treaure and marks a new distination on your map called Trollford. This, however, is one big quest all on it's own. I don't know if you want details on what happens in it after the end of the game, but if you do, just ask. |
