I received a quest from the Temple of Helm to aid the Temple of Lethander against the Temple of Talos. I accepted and meandered over to Lethander. When I entered the temple, everyone had red circles beneath them and attacked me. (possibly due to the fact that I appropriated a few items last time I was there, just a few things that they did not appear to be using at the time.) Long story short, there are no more worshippers of Lethander in the temple. Is this going to be a problem later in the game because I need some of those people?

You don't happen to be a cleric of good alignment, ain't you? It's a stronghold for those.

Besides that, you don't need them for plot nor other quests.

heh dont worry, there actually are quests were you end up killing them all, so you dont need em really. out of curiousity.. you steal their golden statue? lol

I do have a Fighter/Cleric in my 3 man party who is either chaotic evil or neutral evil. Don't remember. And I just might have 'accidently borrowed' their little statue for a while. Well since they are all dead I guess they won't need it anymore.

Is their any use for the statue or should I dump it?

Thanks

<font color=white>The Golden Statue is related to a surtain Quest you get from Mea'Var.

If you already finished the Quests for Mea'Var, than the Statue is useless. </font>

actually I'm a bit confused that you were even given the quest to help lathander AT ALL if you're evil. seeing as its given by Helm, i thought it was only given to good/neutral characters.

either way, it's not that great a quest anyway, so i wouldnt worry about it. and that quest is the only time you ever need to talk to anyone in the temple of lathander anyway (unless your character is a cleric of lathander i suppose) so loot the corpses and go on your evil-ass way

There's a chance that whenever the trigger was set that determines the (help Lathanderites / help Talassans) quest, the person speaking to you actually looked at another meber of your party (who was either Good or Neutral) instead of the PC. Although that'd be one funky-ass bug if it could make a NE or CE Fighter/Cleric become a member of the Church of Lathander.
