If you jack-up your movement rate to 50, you can "zip" around the map! I did it with the Shadowkeeper and when I saw the in-game effect, I was so shocked, I just about fell right out of my chair. It's like he "Teleports" into battle...almost. But the movement rate doesn't affect attack speed...but you get the idea!

This is known to us I think... you can do all sort of stuff with SK. Using SK for such a purpose is in our eye's cheating, just so you know.. ;) </font> |
Welcome to Ironworks Forums, Whackmiester!
With cheat mods enabled, you can use ^J to teleport across the map at ease -- just pick the character(s) you want to teleport, move the mouse cursor to the destination point, and hit ^J. Voila! you just saved approximately ten to fifteen seconds of your life. :D |
Oil of Speed + Improved Haste + Offensive Spin + Boots of Speed = Blazing Blade

Oils and Imp Haste stack?

AFAICT, yes. Nothing like zipping from point A to point B in 2 seconds without using Ctrl + J. ;)

The speed for the characters is a big pain really. I bet that over half the game's time that you put into it is nothing but walking

Trust me, if you ever played BG1 you won't complain about the BG2 movement rates.
