I have read throught the "solo cavalier on insane vs. improved torgal" and the "how did you kill torgal" threads. I am soloinga lvl 15 barbarian against Improved Torgal, and i would really like to know what does work to kill him.

Several methods of killing him were mentioned, but many,including using improved kithix, only seemed to be experimental. I could just try to find some these items and butcher him, but i would really like some conformation on what actually does kill him, before i send my half orc running around amn for weeks only to have my pets killed in a matter of minutes

My current tactics are:
potions of speed, defense, frost giant strength, & heroism
barbarain rage
hit point around 225 (vampiric touch on a summoned moose)
sarevok sword or lilarcor (all specialization in 2 handed swords)
thaco around -4 or -5, ac around -7ish

If not for his damned strength drain, this would be a piece of cake.
I can run and heal, but he heals faster
Please tell me if you HAVE defeated him soloing with a fighter class.

Vhaliors helm= 2 fighters+ 2 imp spideys.... was pretty easy actually, just quaff a strength potion every 5 hits or so

I have not personally defeated Imp Torgal with a solo pure fighter.

One Imp Kitthix will not be enough. Try for the Mirror Image Sword. Bring along potions of giant strength, potions of invulnerability, etc.

Is Torgal the Demi-Lich?

No.

I also have defeated Improved Torgal with a solo fighter using Improved Kitthix and Vailhor's Helm. Also 3 potions of Firebreath.

Kangaxx is the Demi-Lich (in SoA, there is one more in ToB IIRC.), he can be foud near Mea'Vars GuildHall in the Dock District.</font>*
