I want some add ons and mods...where do I find them?

I particulary want the Soulafien mod and others that add alot to the storyline.

I also need to know which ones that are compatible with each other (I have ToB installed)

So which ones do you guys recommend? Please give some exzamples!

Here is a list of all the WeiDU mods -- though some are still in development.

From my personal experience, i can recommend Ascension, Tactics, EoU, Sola, Kelsey and Valen. Tashia is nice, but "pales" in comparison to the other NPCs.

What about fixpacks?

And darkest day...is it any good?

The Sticky thread (= "All Newcomers ... ") contains links to the patch and the fixpack.

I don't recommend TDD. Changes too much of the original game, while featuring more bugs than NPCs. Not my cup of tea. ;)

If you have played the game several times and you want a ''new kick'' in the game, then TDD (The Darkest Day) is something to look at... it adds alot of new Quests, Items, New NPCS, Classes ect.

Okay it is still a little buggy but its a nice mod that you should defenitly check out sometime...

I've downloaded quite a few of the mods and for the most part they are pretty good

That being said ,I would stick with the weidu stuff as much as possible, it almost always is cross compatible with other weidu's. Note I said almost always.kelsey is good,Tactics is good but hard,items upgrade is awesome, as well as ease of use(baldurdash fixes covers a lot of the ease of use stuff).

I have also tried Freedoms Reign and Reign of virtue and found them to work OK with most of the weidu stuff.

Downloaded Desecration of Souls but it really did not like one of the other mods I had installed( don't know which one) and it completely crashed my game hard.

I would like to download Shadows over Soulabar b/c I hear good things but don't have 24 hrs to spare doin it.(Damn this dial up connection)

Don't remember the websites just go a searchin' with an engine and they will com up quick (Google did anyway). Good luck and good gaming!

I started modding my game about 2-3 months ago and I havent played anything else since. The mods I've tried are:

Expanded Thieves Guild

and recently installed the Big one... The Darkest Day (TDD)

do i just unzip them in teh override directory?

No, you unzip them in the main BG2 directory and start the .exe file.
