I'm having trouble with my machine locking up when I play. Sometimes it will do it shortly after I start playing, sometimes after I've been playing for hours. It does it for BG2 and IWD2 and it's pi**ing me off. Any suggestions?

Possibly your graphics card overheating because of the amazing graphics that the games offer [img]smile.gif[/img]

You could install a new fan in your computer case...

Alternately, you could try running windows update and seeing if that offers improved stability [img]smile.gif[/img]

Locks up? Is there any error? If so what? Or is it just freezing and you have to reboot? Or does it reboot by itself?

It just freezes. I can't escape at all.

posting specs would help..... ie what kinda computer do you have -> processor , speed what gfx card etc.
nd what settings u runnin the game on.

you could however just have a unstable system,, curing that is a whole different story
