Is there a way to regain lost levels due to level drain? With the exception of gaining all the XP back by fighting?
Thanks!!!!! |<lingon |

Yes there is a way to restore drained levels, go to a Temple for a spell called ''Restoration'' that will bring up the drained levels, also if you have a priest in your party, they can also cast Lesser Restoration and Greater Restoration.. these spells will also give you back the drained levels. [edit] Lesser Restoration is a level 4 Priest Spell Greater Restoration is a level 7 Priest Spell also temples will let you buy restoration scrolls, every character with a Intel. higher then 8 can cast these scrolls, they will also bring up the drained levels [ 02-09-2003, 04:02 PM: Message edited by: Annatar ] |
You cannot gain the levels back by re-earning the XP - while level drained, you cannot gain any new levels. However, you will get the XP - but it'll be applied only after you regained your old levels (by means of Restorations).

I find it hard to believe that you haven't seen this message yet:
"If you have been Level Drained, use a Restoration spell or scroll to restore the misssing levels. Temples will also heal you." On a slightly different note, if you could regain your levels just by gaining EXP, I'd get Imoen Level-Drained on purpose to turn her back into a pure Thief. |

P.S. Maybe it's a good question, by the way; gather some of the loading screen's sentences, and let them choose which one is incorrect (or let them finish one of the loading screen's sentences). [ 02-09-2003, 07:25 PM: Message edited by: Link ] |

strange, but all of those irritating loading messages (you usually get two, one for saving, one for loading) are mentioned in the manual as well.

They are? Never noticed, although I am pretty positive that I've read the entire manual a dozen times..
