Is there a quest or something that comes before entering the guarded compound in Athkatla's Temple District, or do you just go in randomly? I went in once and there was some blokes talking and they asked me to leave. Is it part of a quest, and if so, how do I get the quest?
Also, could someone tell me which districts, but not exactly where, the lichs for the Kangaxx quest are? I have found the one in the sewers where the unseeing eye quest is. Is the one in the City Gates, where you get Daystar, one of them? Because I killed him ages ago and can't remember finding a body piece. |

Firim, when you get familiar with the game, you'll notice that there are some quests that sort of "refer" to each other, but aren't actually connected. When BioWare designed the game, they had originally intended to write additional plot devices and quests that linked the quests together, but as their deadline approached, they ran out of time and decided to ship the game with those quests only half completed, or not implemented at all. There are a lot of them, a surprising number of which involve the Bridge District.
If you want your characters to wonder, "What's this "Rune" business all about?" go to the Bridge District and investigate the Skinner Murders. If you want your characters to stumble onto the Twisted Rune, clear out the Guarded Compound. (IF you've installed the BaldurDash Fixpack.) If you want your characters to have a reason to enter the Guarded Compound, get Nalia in your party, and keep her there for a while. |
yeah, i wondered that too, but I thought maybe they had meant to link it to the slaver quest in the slums.
