Well, I got the real ore, but I wanted to get the fake stuff, too. She said wait a day. I think I waited 2, but she's not in the promenade now. I want my ore. Any bugs? Did I just not wait long enough? I'm still carrying the illithium, BTW.

She's only there during the day.

She's there only for a short period of the day, just sleep and come back in the noon. Then she will be there... otherwise... its a bug

why would you want the fake stuff ?
I only tried giving it to that artist guy once and he wouldn't accept it. Does he accept it if you have high charisma or intelligence or something ? what other use is there for it ? I don't get it

even with my sorc. with a intel of 18 and a charisma of 18 he wouldn't accept it so,, don't see why you want that fake stuff anyways...

There is a much better use for the real ore then giving it to the temple.

If you play your cards right, you can keep the real ore, and make the temple happy.

After the artist refuses the fake ore (make sure the real stuff isnt in your inventory) go to the temple. Tell them what happened, someone will show up, say that he likes the fake ore, and accept it as a new piece of artwork for the temple. The temple is happy, and you get to keep the real ore to upgrade the mace of disruption.

Try giving it to the Priest of Whomever that sent you on the mission. The Priest takes it and gives you a bunch of experience. You then keep the real stuff to make the Improved Mace of Disruption.
