i just read somewhere , that unless i install tob i will not have any level 9 spells !!
no timestop no whail of the banshee ? thats what ive been waiting for.
is this true?

also what exactly is the xp cap , my party currently consists of 5 people
will i be able to reach my level 9 spell slots?

Sadly, the rumors are true :( . you will only reach the level before you would get the ninth level spells. you can get the exp. cap remover from this part of the Ironworks. Havent tested this one, but i think it should work fine.

Correction you can actually cast lvl 9 spells through the scrolls.Sorc would be better for this cus they dont need to write scrolls so they can just cast em!

I am assuming he means that you cannot MEMORIZE ninth level spells. That is correct, isnt it?

For my knowledge it IS possible to cast Nine level spells in SoA, Just use scrolls or install a Exp. Cap remover (I'm not sure if you cannot cast Nine level mage/sorc. spells without the Exp. remover never played without it so)

and if your party consist of 5 party members you will surely be casting nine level spells before entering the nine hells (just do enough quests ect. for the experience :D )

the Exp. cap remover removes the barrier Black Isle made for the amount of Experience you can get (leveling) so you do not get overpowerd (like a party of : Sorc. level 34, Beserker level 36 and a Priest level 31) the Exp cap remover will counter that effect by removing the barrier Black isle made.

You can now reach levels up to 40 if you wish.

isn't there a mod for reaching lvl 50 (for SoA)? and i have a question on tactics: is it available for SoA and mac?

Indeed there is a Exp. Remover that is capable of reaching level 50 (not sure from who or where to get it but... ive heard of it) by Tactics you probably mean the "Ïmproved Tactics Mod'' I do not know if it is working with a Mac system but have A look at the Sorcerer's Place
