hi,
mu level 13 mage bane, just got his level 7 spell slots so i memorised limited wish. now i couldve sworn this spell had a onetime wish called'' i wish to have an adventure like never before'' or something simmilar this wish however seems to be missing in the list. any suggestions? thanks |
I'm not sure if it is the same as reading it straight from a scroll, but your wisdom plays a part in what choices are available through the spell.
So try a wisdom-enhancing potion to see if you get the limited-wish adventure quest. |
The Adventure option is one of the "One Time Wishes".... Perhaps you asked the Djinni for a "Repeatable Wishe"?

Maybe it is your low wisdom (what is it?) because the effects of Limited wish are bassed on your stat in wisdom... but I think you should have al the options even when you have a wisdom of 3 so.... beats me

Includes Spoilers
* * * * * * * * * * * * I do believe you have all the same options available, no matter what the Wis score is. The wisdom score affects the propability of the wish being granted the way you want it to. Did you by any chance cast the spell in the Bridge District by a certain inn that isnt the Five Flagons Inn? If so, then that option should trigger a new sub-quest. |
Can you do Limited Wish twice? Like 1 person casts it, then another?

The selections from Wish/Limited Wish do indeed vary every time, according to your Wisdom. Mind you, some of the wishes look VERY similar: There are two separate wishes: "I wish to be protected from the Undead," and "I wish to be protected from the Undead right now." One of them (the high WIS one) casts Negative Plane Protection on your whole party, and the other (the low WIS one) summons half a dozen hostile Vampires. No, I don't know which is which.
You can cast Wish/Limited Wish as many times as you want, although when any of the "one time Wishes" is used, it may never be used again in that game. The item gained from "I wish for a powerful magical item" has a hidden penalty not mentioned in the item's description: The character using it has his walking speed slowed by 2 when it's equipped. (This might not always be a bad thing: Suppose you've got 2 Tanks with the Boots of Speed, and you want your better one to get there first. So, just give the item to the one you want to get there 2nd.) |

thing is i summon the genie via bane (prot) wisdom 13 i think
but i have viconia talk to him (wis 18) and she does the actual wish....still theres no option for the adventure |
The exact wishes you can make are determined randomly each time you cast the spell. Your wisdom influences how well they work out. Try casting the wish spell several times, you should get the option to go on the one-in-a-lifetime adventure.
If not, it may be a Wish option only, not a Limited Wish one. I doubt that though :( |
