As ive posted in a few other threads, im gonna dump my solo cleric/mage(solo sucks, too eezee :( ) and start a brand new single player game. my thoughts are

Me: Cleric or Barbarian
Jaheira(romance, wanna see if its really that bugged)
Minsc or Valygar(i wanna Ranger, thatll work as tank and occasional bowman)
Jan (hilarious, and thief/illusionist)
Anomen(if im Barb) or perhaps Aerie or Keldorn
Imoen

Whoa, my mistake on that. I meant to ask if any of you have a better suggestion on a main character and/or party. sorry 'bout that, and thanks for letting me know my mistake Gandalf.

Raistlin, have you ever considered playing with a smaller party than six?
Personally, playing with 6 characters is a bit too messy, and especially the mages of the party need constant attention while still at low level. A smaller party also means more experience divided over your party members, so you'll level up faster as well; weaker party members will reach a higher level a lot faster and will be less of a nuisance. After the first party I have ever played through the game with, my party has never been bigger than 4 characters. Normally I go for one cleric-type, one mage-type and one character able to tank; whatever I drag along besides that doesn't really matter, depends on if you need an extra tank or not.
Keep in mind that the game will be actually easier with a smaller party, especially in the later parts of the game.

I know that. Actually the last party i played had me as cleric of helm(thats why really chose the barbarian), viconia, Edwin and cernd. that was actually kinda annoying, too much spell casting. but i thouhgt id try some new npc's. ive actually never played with Valygar or Imoen(im ashamed, she is youre sister afterall), nor have i romanced Jaheira. Im thinking along the lines of playing 5 character until Imoen. the five are, as you can see, Me, Valygar, Anomen, Jaheira and Jan. Just had to take Jan, brings a lot of fun into the game. Next game will propably be me as druid(never played that for some reason), keldorn, Edwin and Viccy. or perhaps ill drop anomen after first vamp base(going thieves) and pic him up for the last. Rather because Jan is multi-class and a smaller party IS easier. Thanks for the replies anywhoo. Ill propably try to post some stories on cool fights. Just to practice English really. Ill try and add some pics too, if im able to get them this PC.
