Kraag was pissed. His reputation had been tarnished in a foul dragon's pitiful quest for vengeance on a mortal, he had been used, and now he was going to be Firkraag's toy. He had spent nearly a year resting in his keep gaining his wealth, and obtaining state-of-the-art arms from the Adventurer's mart, and ventured again into Firkraag's lair. His orcish blood boiled in his veins, and his father's blood gave him the ability to cast holy strength on himself. Power coursed through his veins, and he twisted himself into an even more furious rage. He put on his elven court bow, tossed back a potion of speed, and let loose a piercing arrow, finding its target, directly between Firkraag's eyes, causing him immense pain. He let lose another small volley, despite the dragon's stoneskin, the magic on a few of them doing damage to the dragon, meanwhile Kraag was faster, and could keep out of range of all his attacks.
Firkraag hasted himself. "i dont think i can keep running" kraag thought, fingering his ring of air control, "can't hit what you cant see" he said, disappearing. He switched to his dragonslayer halberd and moved in for the kill, revealing himself slightly, but not enough for firkraag to hit him every attack. He downed a potion of heroism, and slammed the halberd into Farkraag, draining the last of the stoneskin. Firkraag launched a harrowing counterattack--greater malision, wing buffet, firebreath, domination, and another firebreath. This drained Kraag of nearly all his 180 health. Kraag forced himself off the ground, and downed a potion of extra healing, and worked himself into another rage. He charged blindly at the dragon, downing an assortment of potions on the way: fire resistance, extra healing, heroism, perception, and struck Firkraag on the chest, being knocked back by another wing buffet. He hit the wall, taking even more damage, and once again, Kraag charged the dragon again. He was at it for hours, chipping away at the dragon's hide. He was running out of juice, he was down to his last set of potions, so Kraag decided to save them, and he switched back to his bow, and fired off volleys of arrows at Firkraag, who flew towards him, rapidly closing the distance. They both were close to death, and Kraag through back the last bit of his potions and worked himself into a final rage, and struck blindly at Firkraag, who reared back to end him with a firebreath. Kraag's blow struck flesh, and Firkraag fell to the floor, dead.
Bloody, beaten, tired, and out of potions, Kraag wandered over to the loot. "Now that wasn't so bad"...

Kudos on the victory. Nice writing too. One question though, why drink the potion of perception? Isn't that for thieving skills or am I thinking of something else.
