No - while such things might be fun just when you do them, I imagine it'll be a bit stale after xx hours of gaming

It'll also ruin the realistic atmosphere.

I did give one of my female characters a male voice and that belt that changes gender but it made me mad so I started over, Im not sure if this was BG1 or BG2

Easier way than that, remove curse and chance voice. (stats screen, customize, sounds or voices, from male to female)

Let's see now, of course I've tested some of my own soundsets during the game (Zap Brannigan and Bender soundsets (both Futurama characters) and Stewie (Family Guy character). I've also played a squirrel Desolator for a while during a multiplayergame. Not sure if it counts like "fun"... ;)

I remember joining a internet game with a new male character that i had given a female voice and getting lots of strange coments from the other players, lots of fun.
