I give my vote to the Sorcerer. At higher levels, they get devastating spells. ;)
If you choose the right spells, you have a selection of both defensive and offensive spells - use these in the right manner and your enemies won't stand a chance. |
It is easiest to play with a fighter type character, but mages/sorcerers are ultimately the most powerful. Beware, don't play a sorcerer before you know the spell-system (before you have the game beaten).
Take Cavalier(Paladin) for your first run. Pretty strong and not too complicated. |
Yes i have tried those chars ....well all of them and yet when bhodi comes my char doesnt seem up to it....and i have tried a list of whats good and bad ...but the thing for me is i get sick of just running up and slicing enemys to bits sorc was good ....i tried on multi playa it was easy to lvl up cus i had all the good items but if someone could convince me to be that class then il give it a shot.

Avenger's are fun :) Goin' through the game as a Fire Salamander? heheh
Try a Ranger, or a Paladin (pure Paladin). Both can heal themselves, and both can hurt enemies. Sure, they take a while to level up, but oh well. (Hint: When choosing Human or Half Elf, always choose half-elf, they have infrasion and some resitances) :D |
Sorcerors are the most powerful characters but with a few bad spell selections, your fun can be drastically reduced. Or, on the other hand, if you've got all the right spell selections, your fun can be drastically reduced. Open to interpretation!
Fighters are great and if you're wielding the right weapons almost nothing can stand against you. This too can become boring. If you're looking for a class that is powerful yet still retains the fun factor (short of a fighter/mage), my advice is the Blade. Their combat skills are great and they can cast mage spells up to level 6. They can also utilize a number of Bard-only weapons that can make your game much more interesting. Quote:

Well i suggest the cavalier too but if you want a sorcerer look for a member(technically mod) named dundee slaytern. in his sig there are two links which are very helpful for picking spells. You proably won't want to use them exactly(because it's your game) but a good guide line. other relatively easy classes to play. Cleric, fighter/cleric, archer
