3)right now i have a party of 4,

- Bane (prot) conjurer - level 11

- Korgan level 10

- Edwin level 11

- Viccie level 10

i havent done nalias quest yet or the windspear hills
or anywhere else that gets ya good axes n other magical equipment

all korgan has pretty much is a axe + 2 bracers of ac8 and helmet of defence

viccie has a cheap lame mace

bane has the ring of acuit n wizardry, (no armor)

Will i survive the underdark? if not, what quest should i do to get some decent weapons.
i also have 24000 any weapon i should buy ? note that 15000 was sorta needed to get me into spellhold ;)

thing is im considring keeping imoen so i dont want her to be a weakling compared to the rest so im tryin to keep the big quests open

I'd probably do Nalias quest, umar hills and beholder cult quests. that should also give you a few bits of nice weaponry (and what is korgan doing with Bracers Ac 8 ???? leather armour is better than that crap! lol).
do his book quest and Edwins quest before you go to spellhold, NPCs can get impatient sometimes (and yes they will leave), but dont worry about kogans 2nd quest

Edwin takes the book for himself. He is studying it right now.

All quests get "put on hold" when you leave for the Asylum, so you don't need to worry about that. When you emerge from the Underdark, though, they will remind you to get a move on, and you may need to do some quick globetrotting to make them all happy before anybody gets fed up and leaves.

I, too, have seen repeating dialogues, but I think it's from Reloading. (Jan has a banter with somebody, later on I reload, Jan gives the same banter again). Just a guess.

If Korgan is wearing the Helmet of Defense, who the hell is wearing the Helm of Balduran? What armor is he wearing, what Shield? An Axe+2 is, well, okay for most fights, but know this: Soon after entering the Underdark, there is an enemy that requires +3 weapons (or better) to hit. Fighting this enemy is not absolutely required, but figuring out how to progress through Chapter 5 without fighting it is almost as difficult as fighting it.

Actually, i can think of an enemy in Chapter 4 that requires +3 weapons (or better), and you have to fight if you're interested in escaping. You should know who i'm talking about. ;)

I think it is impossible to screw up that fight. I think that you get +3 weapons automatically, if you know what i mean. and i think you get a certain immunity to a very annoying effect.(trying not to spoil anything)

Hmmmm.....the MoD+2 strikes as a +4 weapon, and if what you say is true, then the MoD+1 has the same property, because that's what Keldorn used to take the enemy down in about 3 hits. Are you sure? I don't think I've ever noticed *any* weapon immunities on him, except the ubiquitous Normal Weapons immunity.

Just to be sure we're talking about the same creature, "Big Bearded Statues."

The only +3 (or better) weapons that you can obtain in Chapter 4 are a Spear+3 and a Staff+3, and you find both of those in the first level of the dungeon, IIRC. (I guess your Monk had better be at least Level 18, or have a +3 Dagger or something, or you're SOL.)

Yep... Infinity Explorer credibility. He's immune to Normal, +1 and +2 weapons.
