level 9-10 party of nature freaks

Me - Druid-avenger
jaheira
Tashia (sorcerer NPC mod)
Faromir (my own fighter/thief dual class (fighter closed at lvl 8)

also have minsc and Aerie but going to swap one soon for Cernd when i go to get my stronghold, also considering mazzy, but i dunno.

the top 4 are staying (as will Cernd), who do you recomend for the 6th member, considering my theme and what jobs are unfilled ? (won't be keeping Imoen once i get her back from underdark)

other question, what weapons should i give them (including weimer item upgrades)
I have very little experience with druids (only used jaheira a few times) so any hints or tactics would also be welcome

a BIG suggestion, get the ease of use mod with shapeshifter rebalancing, you wont regret it.

do I need to install it before starting a game or can I install it just before I go get Cernd ?

im not completely sure about that one. i think you could install it already even though you are already in the middle of the game. just check the manual to be sure.

getting crend with shapeshifter mode is a big + factor and wont let your down. without it, in the last stages of the game, he would just be a burden then a helper.

It's a small vessel much like a bottle with an open top and a cone shaped attachment at the end of a side mounted stem. Only weapon a party of hippies will ever need. Well, that and a warding gesture with middle and fore fingers extended and palm facing outwards.

On a more serious note, there's a mod called Weimer's Item Upgrade which has a number of cool weapons and items that are tailored towards druids and clerics. I'd recommend:

Staff of Elemental Mastery +5 (up there with SotR and SotM)
Pitchwife +5 (as opposed to Fulcrum +4)
Impaler +4 (missile version)
Water's Talon +4

There are a number of other items which will benefit any class but these are the obvious choice for druids/clerics.

[Edit: It seems you already have the items upgrade. Oh well. Peace Man.]

You cant use the vessel weapon without the Grass of Confusion, and a fire based weapon.

roflmao. nice one you two.
thanks for the tips btw, don't spose you could point me in the right direction for the pieces to make them ? (which is actually what I should have asked to begine with as the item upgrade readme lists the items themselves)

impaler I know (saughin city ?)
staff of fire... planer sphere ?
other staffs ?

scimitar...underdark and trademeet djinnis yes ?

no clue for the clubs though
also what are the best slings ? (need about 4/5 of them, I normally just find a few sling +2)

Gnasher is right at the entrance to the druid grove, kill the Shadow Druid with a name. Blackblood is on one of the merchants after you kill the Shadow Druid (finish the quest).

For Slings, if you install the Bonus Merchants you can buy the Sling of Everard +5 from one of them (no ammo required, actually strikes as +5 weapon). Sling of Seeking +2 is probably the next best because it is the only sling that adds your strength bonus to damage... combo with a Girdle of x Giant Strength for maximum effect. I think Bernard (Copper Coronet bartender) sells it after you complete the Slaver's quest. After that, unless the Ease-of-Use mod adds any funky slings, I think you're just looking for the best "Sling +n" items... I think Arla's Dragonsbane is a Sling +3 and the Sling of Arvoreen is +4. I don't remember where those two are found though.

Just a quick note on the "Ease of Use" Mod. It DOES work with a game that is "already in progress". After gaining a stronghold for my assassin, I decided I should actually go back and finish the original game that I started over a year ago.

My party are all at the 20+ level (except for Jan) and I quickly noticed that I could "stack" unlimited numbers of arrows, sling bullets, and darts in single slots. Very handy since most of the party had almost all of their slots "filled" already.
