Ring of Danger
Ring of Lock Picks
Ring of Wizardry
Robe of the Good Archmagi
Boots of Speed (other than bodhis maze)
Ring of Fire Control

these are all items I've found before (except ring of danger) but I can't think where to get em (I want to get as many of them as posible before going to spellhold, but I think a few are in the underdark yeh ?)

Ring of lock picks is in one of the upstairs rooms in the copper coronet
Boots of speed can be obtained from the token machine in Bodhi's labyrinth

when you say planer sphere stronghold quest, do you mean a quest once you have the stronghold, or during the capture of it ? I've just aquired the stronghold and the wizard ring you get there is ring of acuity, not ring of wizardry.

the thing is, I always end up with both of them, but Ive only ever done the planer sphere as far as the initial stage (ie. not as a stronghold), and I usually do the harpers quest, but I won't this time because I'm solo and don't have jaheira. can anyone clarify ?

Ring of Danger Sense: You can find this nifty little thing in the planar sphere engine room.

Ring of Lockpicks: Stupid traitor in Shadow Thieves guildhouse´, Only accessible if you side with the Shadow Thieves.

The upstairs room in the Copper Coronet yields a pair of Gauntless of Pickpocketing, not a Ring of Lockpicks.
If Jan is your pickpocketer these are obsolete as his own Techno Gloves are superior in any respect.

Ring of Wizardry: There is two ways of getting this: One is having the planar sphere as a stronghold and instructing your apprentices to make one (beware this is a slightly evil choice). The other is doing Jaheira's subquest. You can loot it from a pretty nasty mage.

You can buy Robe of the Good Archmagi from Ribald. Kinda expensive.

I don't know/remember a Ring of Fire Control. I do, however, remember a ring of Fire Resistance that is looted from a Rakshasha Rukh at the entrance of Firkraag's dungeon.

Boots of Speed: You loot these from a mindcontrolled halfling slave in the Planar Prison (Haer'dalis' subquest).

It can be made for you with the right choices after you have it as a stronghold. I don't know all of the possibilities, but I was cautious at first with the items to be made.

Where are elemental staves and rings and where are girdles of damage resistance (bluntness, piercing and Golden girdle)?
Ring of Air is at Ribald's
Staff of Air is in possession of Master of Thralls (Planar Prison)

You're right about the halfling Vedran.

The Staff of Fire Control is found inside the fire room in the Planar Sphere.

What are these items for, the Item Upgrade mod? They are the components, after all..
