<font color="lightblue">If you open the door to the sphere with a live Valygar, then take him back to Tolgerias to claim your reward, does Tolgerias still spawn as usual in the sphere ??
And more importantly, does your reward (ie, ROTR) from Tolgerias have to be in his inventory when he gives it to you ?? What happens if it isn`t ?? </font>

I'd like some help here too.
I'm playing a solo fighter/mage/theif and I want to sphere as my stronghold. does valygar have to stay with me to give it to me or how does this work ? I've never done the sphere, as a mage, so I don't know what I need to do to get it. I don't want any spoilers except for if I need to have him with me. (I'd rather not have him as I'm doing it solo, but I want the stronghold, and I'm neutral good, so I don't want to kill him either)

take valygar with you then leave him when you guys are already inside the sphere

when you do the quest pls note that you will be trapped there and cannot go back to the city unless you finish the quest. (since you are already pratically in another dimension already)

So I can ditch him as soon as I get in, and still get it as my stronghold ?

Valygar plays no role of importance after he gets you in.
The evil way of getting in is killing him and using his body to enter the planar sphere [img]tongue.gif[/img]

You can even ditch (or kill, or turn in) Valygar before you even enter the Sphere--you only need him to open the door. And yes, Tolgerias will still give you your reward, and yes, you'll still have to fight him.

just finished planer sphere. told valaygar to wait on the door step after he opened the door. I'm now the proud owner of a gigantic, house-squashing sphere, and valaygar was on-hand to meet his ancestor at the end.
